Science Evaluation Unit for PRU


The Science Evaluation Unit is a transportable plant growth chamber that emulates chambers to be used in the Plant Research Unit. SEU chambers provide flight-like lighting, nutrient delivery, and air flow capability. Atmospheric control is provided by operating the SEU in an environment control chamber. The SEU electronics unit controls up to four chambers individually for light level, airflow rate, nutrient delivery system supply level and day/night cycles.

 Sensors for chamber temperature, relative humidity, fluid pressure, light level, and root temperature. 

 Expandable capability for up to 50 sensors

 Compatible with Percival models 130B, E30B and larger chambers
 


  • Develop science design and detailed protocol for spaceflight
